PALM SPRINGS, Florida — The nine victims of the Florida Learjet crash were apparently torn apart on impact — with the gruseome evidence spread across a half-mile-wide debris field, according to witnesses.

Witnesses and locals — many of whom were subsequently evacuated from their homes near the crash site overnight — described grisly finds made close to the scene.

High school student Anthony Blackmon, 18, told The Post he thought they had been “bombed” when he heard the blast, less than 100 yards from his house.

“We didn’t really see debris of a plane, but we did find body parts,” he said.

“We found a backbone, and there’s a picture of a hand going around. The plane seemed completely disintegrated; there were only small parts,” Blackmon said.
